DBT-CDFD started testing of COVID-19 samples from Telangana State on 18th April 2020, after due approval from DBT and ICMR.

DBT-CDFD Scientists Dr. Ashwin Dalal, Dr. Murali Dharan Bashyam, Dr. Rashna Bhandari and Dr. Harinarayanan are co-ordinating and providing much needed leadership in this effort. Thanks to all CDFD volunteers who have made this effort possible.
